5-Star Alaskan Adventure at Rainbow River Lodge |
|
Where Fishing Dreams Come True. |
Experience a 6-night, 6-day fishing experience of a lifetime at one of Alaska’s premier lodges. Rainbow River Lodge has been rated as one of the "Ten best fly fishing lodges in Alaska" and the Copper River, their "Home River", has been rated by Trout Unlimited as one of the "Top 50 best trout streams in the world".
Each day, weather permitting, a fly out trip is scheduled, unless you choose to fish on the Copper River. If you can’t fly out, you will fish on the Copper River, one of Alaska’s greatest fishing rivers. In addition to catching wild, trophy-sized Rainbow Trout, you’ll find Arctic Char, Arctic Grayling, Dolly Varden, Northern Pike, and depending on the month, Sockeye, Chum Salmon in spawning stage and Silver Salmon (Coho).

PACKAGE COST: $7,850
A $3,500 deposit must be sent in ASAP in order to reserve a spot.
Lodging is two in a cabin, so you’ll need a roommate. |
Price includes: 6 days of guided fly‐out fishing and 6 days lodging; breakfast, lunch and 5‐star caliber dinners (special requests for any diets are welcomed); use of all boats and motors, aircraft; all fishing equipment, including rods, reels, flies and leaders, boots and waders; flights to and from the lodge and Iliamna; a 7- day non‐resident fishing license; a 50 lb. box of frozen and filleted salmon (if salmon are caught).
Not included: RT airfare from your home to Anchorage; the charter flight from Anchorage to Iliamna (approximately $500); tips for the guides and staff. Should you travel by private jet, most are capable of landing in Iliamna. If not traveling by private jet, you MUST arrive in Alaska in time to catch the charter flight to Iliamna that departs at 4 PM, on the Saturday of the start of your trip, from Merrill Field near downtown Anchorage.
If you can’t make the charter, you will need to arrive the day before and stay overnight in Anchorage. The cost for lodging that night is not covered in the package rate. |
*** I strongly suggest that you make arrangements for a trip in 2016 as far in advance as is possible because the dates at the lodge get booked quickly and getting flights to Alaska in the summer can be difficult if they are not made far in advance |

EQUIPMENT YOU NEED TO BRING |
Wading Equipment: If you do not have boots or waders, the lodge will supply some for you. You are welcome to bring your own gear. However, it is essential that you have a hooded, Gore-Tex fishing jacket and some cold weather gear or fleece to wear under your waders. If you don’t have those, you can always purchase them at the lodge.
A new law requires that WADDING BOOTS MUST BE RUBBER SOLED to prevent contamination of the water. Please, NO STUDS or CLEATS, as they are very hard on the planes and boats. If you only have studded boots, the lodge does have some slip on protectors for your boots. |
