Rick’s Alaskan Adventure

This is a 6 night/6 day fishing adventure to a new lodge on the Iliamna River. There are only three cabins and one room in the lodge, making for a very private experience. As is the case with its sister lodge, Rainbow River, the food, accommodations and fishing are superior

Deck of Cabin #1 and Beaver Float Plane

Rick and Golf Hall of Famer Raymond Floyd on the Iliamna River

DATES: July 17 - 23, 2016

You will arrive back home on July 24, after a late flight out of Anchorage. There are only four spots available on a first come, first served basis.

A $2,725 deposit must be sent in ASAP to hold a spot. Lodging is two in a cabin or room, so you’ll need a roommate.

COST: $5,550

Fly outs are available for $200 to $300 per angler, per trip and can be arranged before hand or at the lodge.

FULL FLY OUT PACKAGE AVAILABLE FOR $7,600 WITH FLIGHTS TO MORE REMOTE RIVERS

If interested in other dates, use the email at the end of this flyer to receive available dates.

Price includes: 6 days of guided fishing, 6 days lodging; breakfast, lunch and 5‐star caliber dinners (special requests for any diets are welcomed); use of all boats and motors, all fishing equipment, including rods, reels, flies and leaders, boots and waders; flights to and from the lodge and Iliamna if arriving in Illiamna by private jet, and by boat to and from the Lodge if arriving by charter to Pedro Bay; a 50 lb. box of frozen and filleted salmon, if enough salmon are caught, which shouldn't be an issue this time of the year. Also included is an Iliamna T-shirt and hat

Not included: Not included: RT airfare from your home to Anchorage; the charter flight from Anchorage to Pedro Bay (approximately $500); tips for the guides and staff (normally 10 - 15% of cost) Should you travel by private jet, most are capable of landing in Iliamna. If not traveling by private jet, you MUST arrive in Anchorage in time to catch the charter flight to Pedro Bay that departs on July 17, at 4 PM, from Merrill Field near downtown Anchorage.

***We strongly suggest that you make arrangements for a trip in 2016 as far in advance as is possible because the dates at the lodge get booked quickly and getting flights to Alaska in the summer can be difficult if they are not made far in advance.

Equipment you need to bring

Wading Equipment: If you do not have boots or waders, the lodge will supply some for you.  You are welcome to bring your own gear.  However, it is essential that you have a hooded, Gore-Tex fishing jacket and some fleece to wear under your waders.  If you don’t have those, you can always purchase them at the lodge.

A new law requires that WADDING BOOTS MUST BE RUBBER SOLED to prevent contamination of the water. Please, NO STUDS or CLEATS, as they are very hard on the planes and boats. If you only have studded boots, the lodge does have some slip on protectors for your boots.
